Our Organic farm visit experiences connects you to natural farms as an urban consumer, we explain why organic and natural choices are important, take you around the farm through various sections and help you to switch to informed choices and farmers in the city.  Our objective is to create a community of informed individuals, support farmers and entrepreneurs and build healthier living experiences and knowledge.

The Farm Trail

We conduct farm trails based on the profile of the group.

For families individuals looking to spend a day at an organic farm we engage everyone explaining science and environment going through native and non-native varieties, fruit-picking, tree-climbing, traditional games etc.

For schools and study groups we connect subjects and topics being taught to the natural world, ask questions and quiz students make make hands-on activities a priority.

For professionals this is an outing/ off-site experience where we talk about the need for nature, tips and clues on choosing organic in the city and keep the fun element on with interactive games.

We understand what each individual/ family is looking for through this experience and meet them as much as possible.

What we cover at the farm

Beekeeping – The most important insects in the natural world

Horticulture – Over 30-40 kinds of fruits both native and non-native

Medicinal Plants – Ayurveda importance on many kinds of plants and herbs known to cure most illnesses

Rainwater harvesting – Natural ponds to harvest and replenish water requirements

Native Cows – A2 cows importance and why their manure is amazing, we also cover jeevamrutham and panchagavya made in the farm for plants

Composting – Everything on farms is recycled into rich compost which goes back into the soil, either with the  help of earthworms or cow manure magic

Our farm activities range from Banyan tree climbing, Sapling planting, Games like Lagoori , Treasure hunt and discussion with us on choosing organic in the city

We also provide delicious farm-fresh food at farms where ingredients are sourced in-house, local authentic vegetarian food is served

Schedule of the day

9:15 am – Reach the farm and have breakfast (1.5 hour drive from the city)

10:15 – 1:15 pm – Guided and detailed farm trail; Beekeeping, Horticulture area 30 kinds of fruit bearing trees, Water solutions (Rainwater and greywater), Spices, Vermicomposting, A2 native desi cows, Medicinal Plants, Herbs, Eco friendly farmhouse, Banyan Tree visit (We break for juice in the middle)

1:30 pm -2:30 pm – Break for lunch and rest

2:45 pm – 3:45 pm – Interactive traditional desi games

3:45 pm – 4:30 pm – Farming activity and view of the farm with an explanation of organic purchase in Bangalore and farm-to-kitchen choices

4:30 – 5:30 pm – Evening snacks, feedback of the day and leave from the farm

Open throughout the year, for school timings are 9:00 am – 3:00 pm, families & teams 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

Description of natural farms we work with

We work with organic or natural farms only in/ outside Bangalore. Located between 15-50 km from the city. All farms grow over 30-40  fruit bearing trees, native species in flowering plants, medicinal herbs, vegetable and greens, practice of rainwaterharvesting, vermicomposting, beekeeping, native cows etc covering 6-7 sections at the farm.

Location & Distance

Our farms are located in Kanakapura Taluk (50 km), Sarjapur (30 km) and Nelamangala (30 km) within driving distance with great roads.
